How to Style your sofa with Christmas Decorations

I can’t believe Christmas is around the corner! Guess who is almost ready for Christmas! I have decorated already part of my living room.  The easiest way to add a little Holiday decor in your living room is by adding some Christmas pillows.  Before buying these pillows, I had ones that would go well on an everyday basis.
Having moved out with my fiance we have had bought seasonal things which make the house look so homey.
Now, before I continue to show you the pillows I bought, I’m going to warn you about my obsession with HomeGoods. Can anyone here relate? Like seriously who isn’t obsessed with all the cute merchandise they have. Not only that but the best part is that they are constantly adding new items on their shelves. I only wish they would have an online store. On the contrary, Homegoods wouldn’t be able to have one just because of the type of business it is.

How Much were these Pillows?

These pillows honestly, were very affordable in comparison to other home decor stores like Pier 1 and Crate and Barrel.  The snowflake accent pillows were each $20, the white pillows 2 for $20, the accent deer pillow was $20, and finally, the solid red pillows were 2 for $20. I say that these pillows are affordable because believe it or not in other home stores I saw similar styles for $40 each! You might think is only $20 difference on each pillow but eventually, it will add up!

Why the obsession with Homegoods?

I know many people can relate to me because what home good store has people waiting outside prior to opening. I’m telling you this because the Homegoods near me opens at 11 am on Sundays. I’m not lying, there were people outside just waiting until 11 am. Yes, those people wanted to be the first ones in so they can get the best decor pieces for their house!
As I’m writing this blog and telling you what happened on Sunday, my fiance said “yea that will be you in twenty years”!
Honestly, before moving out from my parent’s house, I didn’t know how great Homegoods was for home decor. Now, that’s the only thing I talk about. The funny thing is that I’ve been wanting to buy clothes but I always seem to see amazing Home decor pieces. Then, I end up not buying new clothes! This is a problem.

By the way, can you tell I LOVE Christmas! It’s only November and I already decorated my sofas! The truth is I couldn’t really find pretty pillows for Thanksgiving.

Why these Pillows for Christmas?

The reason why I wanted my accent pillows to have some type of white on them was that white usually makes the other colors around it stand out. I wanted to maintain a light decor in the living room but I also didn’t want my living room to look dull. The red color helped my light gray sofas stand out which is what I wanted.
