Hi there, friends! We made it to Wednesday!

Today, I’m so excited to share my latest everyday skincare routine.  If you’ve followed me for quite some time on my youtube channel video link, you may remember the huge procedure I got done since then I’ve been determined to find the products ideal for my skin type. Honestly, I’ve tested so many in the past and I finally have found the products that I like and work perfectly with my skin.  With so many people asking to do a youtube video on my skincare routine, I owe them big time.

Before I get into my skincare routines which will be a little bit different, let me share a little bit about my skin type.

MY SKIN TYPE

As you might know, your skin inevitably changes a little bit as you get older.  When I was younger my skin was really oily and I have moderately acne problem but now I have combination skin.  My T zone is usually oily nowadays and the rest is dry.  I have experience occasionally breakouts in the past which have left me some acne scars.  I also have sensitive skin, it gets red super easy and I can’t help it.   My skin has changed from it being super oily to not being as oily and having infrequent breakouts. Thank goodness.

Morning Skin Care Routine

STEP ONE | OLEHENRIKSEN FACE THE TRUTH GEL CLEANSER
I always begin my morning by washing my face with OLEHENRIKSEN FACE THE TRUTH GEL CLEANSER with warm water.  This cleanser starts as a gel and then becomes soapy as you work it into your skin.  This cleanser leaves your skin feeling SO clean.  I carry these products even when I go traveling, it’s so important for you to do the same.

STEP TWO | THAYERS WITCH HAZEL TONER
After I cleanse my skin, I always use a toner for additional cleansing and moisturizing.  Toners are usually filled with alcohol to get dirt and grime off your skin but instead what that does is strip the outer layers of your skin and lead to signs of aging.  What I love about this Witch Hazel Toner is that is Alcohol-Free but yet still manages to add moisture to your skin while protecting the skin from airborne impurities.  I can promise you that my skin never feels dry with this product.  I apply two dashes of this product to a cotton face pad and evenly smooth it over my face in the morning and at night after I wash my face with the cleanser.

STEP THREE | PEARLESSENCE ROSEHIP BALANCING FACIAL OIL
I apply PEARLESSENCE’s Rosehip Facial Oil after the toner has set into my skin.  It gives your skin daily hydration to help balance, revive and rejuvenate skin.  Not to mention it contains Vitamin E and Rosehip Fruit Oil.  It helps my skin look more ‘awake’.  Can’t beat a product that does that!

STEP FOUR | OLEHENRIKSEN SHEER TRANSFORMATION PERFECTING MOISTURIZER
This is a product is in my everyday regimen and it’s my daily moisturizer.  This moisturizer delivers weightless hydration and luminous perfection.  It has a silky whipped texture and best of all it’s oil-free.  This moisturizer is the perfect prep step for makeup because it provides a smooth canvas and brightens for flawless foundation application.
One of the advantages of this moisturizer is that it doesn’t have a smell or doesn’t leave a shiny layer on your skin.

STEP FIVE | ORIGINS GINZING SPF 40
It very important to me to protect my skin from the sun’s harmful UV rays, especially living in the desert of Arizona.   If you do treatments on your skin like chemical peels, laser treatments and etc., you need to be careful and stay out from the sun.  I wear it every day and it goes with me anywhere and everywhere I go.  I love that is not oily at all and my skin absorbs it quickly.  Once the sunscreen is done setting, I can start my makeup routine.

EVENING SKINCARE ROUTINE 

STEP ONE | NEUTROGENA WET CLEANSING TOWELETTES
I have used these cleansing towelettes for years in my skin care routine.  They do such a great job in removing your makeup. The towelettes leave skin thoroughly clean with no heavy residue, so there’s no need to rinse afterward.  Best of all, it’s alcohol-free and at Costco you can buy the huge pack of these!  Although, I do strongly recommend to use the cleanser after this.

STEP TWO | OLEHENRIKSEN FACE THE TRUTH GEL CLEANSER
After using the towelettes, I still always wash my face with the Gel Cleanser just to make sure my face is squeaky clean and makeup free.  Even though I don’t wear much makeup but just in case.

STEP THREE | THAYERS WITCH HAZEL TONER
Next, I get a cotton face pad and use the same toner as I do in the morning.  This will help resurface my skin.

STEP FOUR | OLEHENRIKSEN UPLIFTING TRANSFORMATION EYE GEL
To tie it all in, this eye cream is a weightless anti-aging gel-cream that hydrates, firms, and de-puffs, while reducing the appearance of fine lines. What better way to get rid of all of these problems, as you sleep!
