We are getting Married!

If you follow me on Instagram, you know where & when the ENGAGEMENT HAPPENED!  This post was a little overdue but better late than never!  I’m so happy to announce that we are getting married. Usually, I try to avoid soppy posts, but this day was so magical that I just can’t help it!

In 2017, we met each other in a Biergarten in New Jersey; since that night, everything went great! Next thing you know, in April 2018, we are traveling to Arizona to look for a place to live and planning a move across the country.  Now, that wasn’t the only exciting thing that happened; he decided to pop the Question right as we were overlooking Horseshoe Bend!  I really didn’t know what to do! There was this amazing view of Horseshoe Bend on one side & at the same time he’s down on one knee asking me to marry him; needless to say I was at the edge of the cliff.  I was so emotional, surprised & nervous all at the same time!  On top of that, everyone around us was clapping! It was like a fairytale!

How did I get so lucky?! Pinch me, please! I’m reminiscing this day & it just brings happy tears to my eyes! Never in a million years, I would have thought that he would propose on this trip. Now I can happily say we are getting married.

Anyways, ill save you the mushy reasons why I’m so happy with our relationship and jump to the part right before our engagement…. So rewind to when we were in Hoover Dam. He was beyond thoughtful with everything but I did notice he was acting a little weird or should I say nervous in a sense.  I never thought he was going to propose during this trip!

Two months prior to planning our next adventure together, we had decided to try and cover some of Arizona & Nevada.  Initially, we were planning to head to California because I’ve never been there before and EVERYONE always says its a must-do.  However, after taking some time to think everything through, it made more sense to go look for our special place where we can call Home. If you ever have time to go to Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, Lower Antelope or Horseshoe Bend… Go! It’s beyond beautiful and the pictures don’t do it justice!!
